Avoiding Snipers & HFT's

As we just saw, avoiding "speedy" traders is very important because trading bots won't be able to copy them.

High-frequency traders are easy to spot. The buy and sell in a couple seconds. They will have very low trading deltas.

But what about snipers? They can spend a lot on fees to buy the token and are the first ones to buy it. Trading bots won't be able to copy their performance because they enter too early in the trade. But sometimes they don't sell as early, making it harder to spot them.

If you are unsure if the trader is a sniper, just follow the steps below:

  1. Insert the wallet on dEdge bot

  1. After receiving the summary, click on Last 5 Trades

  1. You will see a list with DexScreener links, click them to see that trading behavior plotted

  1. It will open up a chart with his Buy and Sells on it

  1. This is a 1-second candle chart. Snipers will buy tokens on the first minute, which is represented in the red circle. Avoid copying wallets that buy in the first minute of token launch.

  2. The example above is ok. The wallet bought after 4 minutes from the launch and sold 2 minutes after that.
